Ron and Sarah Greenfield had been working full time jobs and looked toward farming during the first 22 years they lived at Omega Ridge. In early 2012 Sarah retired and everything went into gear developing a 15 x 20 enclosed flight pen, making over the barn and putting up fencing for goats, building a second hen house, dog run and storage building, and developing more garden/compost space. As the years go by we are continuing to work toward more aspects of being organic. That is no easy task and requires additional expenses and work. The improvements on the fish pond have been made and we are growing channel catfish.
Next year we will be offering for sale baby registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. And we almost always have chicken eggs, pigeons and meal worms for sale. Call or email for information.
